Riccardo is
the director of the Italian office of Jacobs Consultancy. With over 14
years’ experience in consultancy, Riccardo’s multi-disciplinary
skills include transport modelling, planning and financing for all
transport modes.
Riccardo
joined Jacobs Consultancy to manage transport consultancy operations
in Italy and Western Europe,
having completed over 100 projects in the transport business
consultancy, mainly as Project Manager or Project Director.
Starting his
professional career working in London for almost four years,
Riccardo has undertaken a wide range of technical assignments,
including modelling and forecasting transport demand, restructuring
of networks, market strategy and business planning for transport
operators, advice on the introduction of new technology, change
management and project management of large multimodal feasibility
studies.
Riccardo has
worked on public transport schemes for buses, tram
lines, metros and heavy rail. This includes modelling and forecasting
transport demand, restructuring of networks, advice on the
introduction of new technology, integrated ticketing and, more
recently, business consulting. He has been a technical expert in
many PPP/PFI studies, especially in toll roads, LRT and parking
schemes, for main Italian developers, engineering construction
companies and financial institutions.

Prior Experience:
Riccardo started his career in 1994 working for Steer Davies
Gleave (SDG) in the London office, he then moved to Italy as founder
and Branch Manager of the local office in 1999 before becoming an
Associate in 2001. He has also worked as Product Manager in Omron.
In 2008, he joined Jacobs Consultancy's Transport Practice -
Transport Planning team as Director for Italy & Western Europe.
