Robert is a transport planner,
with over 15 years experience in transport planning studies. He is a
project manager specialising in pedestrian modelling, airport and
interchange planning, 3-dimensional simulations, data analysis and
development of business cases for interchange projects. Robert
leads the Jacobs Consultancy pedestrian planning and modelling
team.
Robert has undertaken projects for
a variety of clients including station planning for metro, rail,
light rail and government organisations, airport planning projects
for airlines, airport operators and designers. Robert has
undertaken a wide variety of pedestrian modelling studies using
various simulation tools; he is trained in PEDROUTE, CAST Terminal,
Visual Simulation and Legion.
His project experience includes
BAA Heathrow Terminals 1, 3, 4, 5 and proposed T2A (Heathrow East
Terminal) and T2B (Midfield Pier), BA Heathrow Terminal 5, King's
Cross / St. Pancras International and underground stations, Waterloo
International Terminal, London Bridge Station Masterplan, New Athens
International Terminal, Crossrail, Thameslink 2000 and various
studies for Transport for London including Stratford Regional
Station and planning for the London Olympics 2012.
