Peter Brocklebank is a transport economist and Associate Director
with over 20 years experience in transport consultancy undertaking
demand forecasting, project appraisal, transportation modelling
and transport surveys.
Peter has worked in a wide range of projects including high speed
rail projects, toll roads, mass transit systems, highway research
and appraisal, marketing research and econometric analysis of travel
demand. Associated areas of expertise include stated and revealed
preference analysis of travel choices, transportation modelling,
cost-benefit analysis and multi-criteria appraisal methods, and
transport-related statistical analyses.
He lead the successful bidder's traffic and revenue team for the
Manchester Metrolink Phase 1 concessioning in 1989 and has worked
for government, sponsors and lenders on public transport and toll
road concessions since then.
He was awarded the Webb Prize for Transport Research by the UK
Institution of Civil Engineers in 2000.
